FAQs

CBD is the abbreviation of cannabidiol, this molecule is part of the family of cannabinoids, naturally present in the hemp flower, as well as a hundred other phytocannabinoids.

At the moment, the best known phytocannabinoids are:

  • Cannabidiol (CBD)
  • Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
  • Cannabichromene (CBC)
  • Cannabinol (CBN)
  • Cannabigerol (CBG)

These phytocannabinoids interact with our “endocannabinoid system” (known as “SEC”) whose receptors are present throughout our body:

  • Brain
  • Liver
  • reproductive system
  • Cardiovascular system
  • Skeletal muscles
  • Gastrointestinal tract
  • Nervous systems
  • Immune system

CBD, declared "safe, without addiction or side effects" by the WHO (World Health Organization) would have a regulating effect on our endocannabinoid system, it could thus help to relieve inflammation, pain, epilepsy, etc. , sleep disorders, digestion problems.

CBD can be used by everyone and even by our animal friends who also have an endocannabinoid system.
However, it is not recommended for pregnant women or carrying animals.

European law indicates that finished CBD products must contain a maximum of 0.2% of THC.

THC is the only illegal phytocannabinoid to date, due to its psychotropic effects.

A level lower than 0.2% is said to be “residual”, it guarantees you a LEGAL 100% product and without any “psychotropic” effect.

HEP products comply with European and French regulations.

The difference is in the hemp extract used and how it was filtered and processed after extraction.

Full Spectrum HEP products contain the full spectrum of hemp plant ingredients (including THC but in legal amounts below 0.2%).

Broad-spectrum THC-free HEP products have been processed to ensure a THC-free finished product.

There is no universal dosage of CBD, several criteria must be taken into account:

  • CBD level of the product (1 drop of 20% oil contains 2 times more CBD than a drop of 10%)
  • Individual weight
  • Symptoms (stress, metabolic rebalancing, sleep and mood disorders, headaches, pain, inflammation).

The important thing is not to take as much CBD as possible, but to find the best dosage for you.

It is therefore advisable to start slowly, for example 1 drop morning, noon and evening in order to benefit from the effects all day long.

Keep up the pace for a full week and then increase if needed the following week, keep this cycle for a week until you find your optimal dosage.

The most common method of consumption is the sublingual route (under the tongue) but you can also apply our oil directly to a painful area.
